dc.description.abstract | El hostigamiento sexual laboral es un mal que aqueja no solo a la mujer puertorriqueña, sino que es un fenómeno mundial que socava la moral y la dignidad de las mujeres, y víctimas,que lo sufren. Ya es tiempo de que mundialmente se proclame la cero tolerancia contra este y otros tipos de violencia contra la mujer en los lugares de trabajo realizando legislaciones y procesos de prevención que fomenten la equidad. El propósito de esta investigación es presentarel escenario del hostigamiento sexual laboral en Puerto Rico desde una perspectiva del servicio público. Su principal aportación será ofrecerle al lector un conocimiento amplio del desarrollo de las legislaciones y enmiendas existentes, tanto estatales como federales, un recuento de las agencias gubernamentales a cargo de trabajar directamente con situaciones de hostigamiento sexual en el empleo ya sea por prevención o delegación de ley y las medidas de prevención que se utilizan internamente en las agencias. | es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Sexual harassment at work is an evil that afflicts not only Puerto Rican women, but also a global phenomenon that undermines the morals and dignity of women, and victims, who suffer it. It is time that zero tolerance against this and other types of violence against women in the workplace is proclaimed worldwide, implementing legislation and prevention processes that promote equity. The purpose of this investigation is to present the scene of labor sexual harassment in Puerto Rico from a public service perspective. Their main contribution will be to offer the reader a broad understanding of the development of existing legislation and amendments, both state and federal; a count of the government agencies in charge of working directly with situations of sexual harassment in employment, whether for prevention or delegation of law; and prevention measures that are used internally in agencies. | en_US |
