Abstract

Criollas: Local Pottery and Nutrition Education Project as a Revolutionary Industry, is a proposal that serves as a platform providing multiple services and experiences. Among them is the production of ceramic kitchen utensils and traditional Puerto Rican gastronomy workshops. The acquisition of a space is also planned to house the processing of the raw material of the Puerto Rican clays, which in turn will function as a distribution center and serve as a creative workshop space for people interested in developing techniques within the ceramics. In this document, the components within the research, design and conception of the project are exposed, until reaching a series of experiments that contribute to the current development of the proposed cultural enterprise. It culminates with some conclusions and projections that inform the viability and development potential of the project within the current cultural panorama of Puerto Rico
